Amanda & Shaw May 24, 2008

It was towards the end of the reception and everyone was getting ready to send Amanda & Shaw off to their honeymoon and I was sitting at a table going through some of my pictures when Shaw's mother came up to me. She was commenting on their engagement pictures and how beautiful they were. I was telling her thank you and listening to her comments and she just looked at me and said, "You must really love what you do." I replied with a huge grin, "Yeah, I do. I absolutely love what I do." She gave me a hug and said she couldn't wait to see the wedding pictures. I just sat there a moment and looked around. Here I am at someone's wedding being paid to photograph the most important day and intimate moments of their life. Every weekend I find myself falling more and more in love with my job. I get to meet some amazing people and I get to capture things that no one else gets a chance to see. Something that only the bride and groom know the significance of. Something that they will have for the rest of their lives.

Amanda & Shaw decided to keep things traditional and not see each other before the wedding so they requested this picture. She wanted to lean on the same door as her soon to be husband and hold his hand before the wedding. This was just moments before she walked down the isle.











The wedding was at St. Peter St. Paul Episcopal Church and it was beautiful with so much natural light!

Amanda's Aunt from Bay Flowers did the amazing bouquets!

Michelle & David Lynn 5.17.08

When Joanie and I pulled up to the Reunion Golf Club for Michelle and David Lynn's wedding, we were amazed at how beautiful it was! The sky was blue, there was a perfect breeze and we were right on the golf course for what turned out to be an amazing wedding!

When we got to the brides room we were greeted by Michelle who was so excited to show me her blue heels but I think I was more excited when I saw them! Of course we took a million pictures of them so we narrowed down our absolute favorites to post.

This was such an amazing couple to work with. They are so in love with each other and I think everyone there felt it. I know that they are going to amazing things together. Thanks for letting us follow you around all day and for letting us capture the sweetest moments between you both. You were so much fun to work with!
